Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. If making fluffier cookies, add baking powder. - Cream butter with brown and granulated sugar until light and smooth, about 1–2 minutes.
- Beat in peanut butter, egg, extra yolk, and vanilla until smooth and combined.
