Method
- In a large pitcher or drink dispenser, combine apple cider, cranberry juice, orange juice, maple syrup, cinnamon sticks, cloves, and star anise.
- Add sliced apple, pear, and orange. Cover and refrigerate 1–24 hours to infuse flavors.
- Just before serving, pour in sparkling water or ginger ale and stir gently to mix.
Add cranberries and pomegranate arils. Serve over ice in glasses or mugs. Warm option: Strain out fruit, then heat the punch base gently on low until steaming (about 10 minutes). Ladle into mugs and dilute with hot water to taste.
